Creation

1. Open Categories.

2. Click Create category

3. Specify category name and product type.

Product type

Select a product type, and it will be applied automatically to all products in this category.

You can prohibit creating products in a category you want to use for grouping subcategories.

Advanced settings

A ledger account for internal use will be selected automatically after you select the product type.

4. Click on the button Create to complete the creation.

You can also create a category and set up the set of attributes for the new category right away.
