📂General products

General products have two important functions:

1. Filling in information for correct accounting. Depending on the selected general product, accounting options will be selected automatically.

General products are also used as product types for products you create in Runple.

Based on the general product (product type), Runple determines the following parameters:

• Type (goods, service, or digital product)

• Period of use (more or less than one year)

• Assets ledger account

2. Simplifying the creation of incoming invoices. Use general products if you don't want to create irregular or irrelevant products in Runple.

You can use General products when purchasing for internal use only.

For your sales documents (such as offers or outgoing invoices), you can use general products with the service or digital product types only.

General products contain the following sections:

• Creation
• List
• Editing
