To start stocktaking, follow these steps:
1. Open .
3. Select the zone for stocktaking.
Once you start stocktaking, the selected zone will be locked for warehouse operations. This means that:
no goods can be placed in the storage places in the selected zone.
goods cannot be moved from these storage places.
goods cannot be retrieved from these storage places.
warehouse transactions can be manually created for these storage places.
Click Start.
The stocktaking window displays a list of products for which the actual quantity in the warehouse or selected stocktaking area needs to be verified.
In the quantity column, you need to specify the actual quantity of goods in the specified storage place. Once you do it, the difference from the expected quantity will be displayed in the column on the right.
After entering the quantity for all products, click Complete to finish the stocktaking.
If the quantity of one or more products doesn't match the expected quantity, the stocktaking will move to Verification status. In Verification status, a user with warehouse management rights can decide what to do with the products whose quantity doesn't match.
To resolve the difference, complete the next steps:
1. Open the stocktaking in Verification status.
3. Click Resolve at the product level for which you want to resolve the quantity mismatch.
If the actual quantity is less than the expected quantity, you can write off the difference from the selected storage place. This will make the expected quantity equal to the actual quantity.
If you notice that the product is located in different storage places than those specified in the system, you can move the difference from the storage place where the difference exists. The difference will be transferred to the storage place where the actual quantity is located.
To transfer the product difference, activate the toggle Transfer difference to another storage place.
If the actual quantity is greater than the expected quantity, you can book the difference to the selected storage place. This will make the expected quantity equal to the actual quantity.
