Create outgoing delivery for sales order

Last updated 11 months ago

If you want to ship products sold with a sales order, you need to create an outgoing delivery from the sales order.

To create an outgoing delivery for a sales order, you need to:

1. Open the sales order for which you want to ship the goods.

By default, the created outgoing delivery contains all the goods from the sales order. Outgoing delivery linked to a sales order can contain only goods from a sales order.

Partial shipment

If you want to ship only part of the ordered goods, you need:

1. Open a sales order for which you want to ship the goods.

4. Remove products you don't want to ship now or reduce their quantity.

You can create partial shipment only if the option Allow partial deliveries is enabled in the sales order.

After the outgoing delivery is created, specific product units are reserved for it. The quantity and storage places for reserved units are displayed in the pick list.

You can choose the logic for reserving product units in warehouse management.

2. Click Create delivery

2. Click Create delivery
