1. Open

3. Select General as a purpose.

4. Select Outgoing as a Direction.

Customer

6.1. Select the customer.

Click Create partner to create a new partner.

Properties

7. Specify properties.

Activate the option Specify the e-mail text to set the text that will be displayed in e-mails. You can save the specified text as a template.

Document

Select the language for this credit note.

7.1. Specify issue date.

Reverse charge/intra-community delivery

This option is activated automatically once you choose a business partner from another country and if you have entered a VAT number for this partner.

Positions

Select My Products if you want to select one of the products you created previously.

Select Create product if you want to create a new product.

Use a Сorrection if you need to adjust the total credit note amount.

8.2. Specify quantity and amount.

Advanced settings

The accounting options are determined automatically, depending on the purpose, country of the business partner, VAT rate, and reverse charge option. It also depends on the low-value asset option and product type.

Billing details

9.1. Select the payment method.

If you have selected the manual bank transfer, you need to specify the IBAN of your business partner.

9.2. Enter the payment reference.

Once you have created an outgoing credit note, you'll need to transfer the credit note amount to the selected business partner.

Texts

You can add texts to the credit note that will be displayed on the PDF. To add text, follow these steps:

  1. Click Text at the top.

  2. Select the text placement:

    • Select above to display the text before the line items.

    • Select below to display the text at the end of the document.

    • If you place the text above, you can specify a subject.

  3. Enter the text.

  4. Click Add.

You can also save the text as a template for future use. To do this:

  1. Enter the text.

  2. Enter a template name.

Once the template is saved, you can select it from the drop-down templates.
